The TS320 may not be much to look at, but with its comprehensive and field tested two valve steam turbine controls, flexible I/O, intuitive configuration / operator interface and mechanical or generator drive “selectability,” it’s a controller you’ll grow to love.

Rigidly Flexible

With most configurable controllers the tradeoff for ease of configuration is loss of I/O configuration flexibility. With the TS320 you don’t need to compromise. In addition to having a simple, intuitive configuration interface, the TS320 also gives you the most comprehensive I/O interface selection in its class.

Applications

The TS 320 is a fully integrated and configurable digital controller designed to startup, run, and protect either one-valve or two-valve steam turbines. The controller is suitable for controlling turbines driving either mechanical (compressor/pump) or generator loads. In addition to speed control, the 320 controller configuration provides cascade control for controlling a process variable such as compressor suction/discharge pressure, or flow, for mechanical applications; and megawatts, inlet / exhaust steam pressure for generator applications. The TS320 is enclosed in a NEMA 4-compliant enclosure that’s suitable for installation either indoors or outdoors.

Software

Powerful PC Configurator

As with the rest of the Tri-Sen family of turbine control systems, the TS320 comes with an easy-to- use Windows-based software application that allows you to configure the controller from a PC.

The Configurator makes setup easy with features like an expandable parameter view, drop down menus and checkboxes.

Detailed online help minimizes the need to refer to the User’s Guide during configuration.

And, configurations can be easily downloaded or uploaded to or from the TS320.

A comparison feature makes it easy to identify differences between two TS320 configuration files to help prevent application configuration and download mistakes.

Additionally, the TS320 configuration software includes Real-Time Monitoring, Trending and Recording of I/O values and states, calculated values and alarm and trip history.
